Scrambling South! Two Generations of Balladeers

In the Spring and Fall of 2007, two Cork legends, Jimmy Crowley & Máirtín de Cógáin, embarked on two tours of the Midwestern and Southern States of America. They were reared within 5 miles of each other, with only 30 years between them. This tour, their first together, was history in the making.

The two will be teaming up again sometime. Watch this space for more details!

Jimmy has toured the world over for the past 30 years, reaching the four corners of the earth.

Máirtín grew up listening to Jimmy as a young man. "His records were always on at home. He is a well of songs and without the likes of Jimmy the folk movement would never have happened and I wouldn't be singing in America."
